A Handwritten Prayer Before a Long Journey

Heavenly Father,

As I prepare to set out on this long journey, I pause to place every mile into Your hands. Thank You for the opportunity to travel, for the strength to go forth, and for the purpose that lies ahead. Lord, I ask for Your divine protection over me and over those who travel with me. Keep us safe from accidents, harm, or unexpected troubles along the way. Surround us with Your angels and let Your presence be our constant guide.

Bless the vehicle, the roads, and the people who will help along this journey. Grant wisdom and alertness to the driver, calmness to the passengers, and peace in our hearts. If the road becomes difficult or the hours feel long, remind us of Your promise to never leave us. If weariness comes, give us strength. If fear arises, replace it with faith. Let every mile be a step taken under Your watchful care.

Lord, bless the destination we are heading toward. May it be a place of peace, safety, and joy. Protect our home while we are away and keep our loved ones safe until we return. Allow this journey to be filled not only with safety but also with blessings, growth, and moments that draw us closer to You.

As the sun rises and sets on this trip, let us remember that every step we take is under Your protection. Lead us faithfully, guard us gently, and bring us back home with gratitude in our hearts for all You have done.
