Lord, as I rise to greet this day,
I place my journey in Your way.
Through roads that twist, through skies so wide,
Be ever present, by my side.

Guide my steps, both near and far,
Keep me safe in plane or car.
If oceans call or rivers flow,
Steady my heart where I must go.

Shield me from the storm and rain,
From sudden trouble, loss, or pain.
Let angels guard the path I take,
And peace surround each choice I make.

Bless my family, bless my friends,
Keep them secure until day’s end.
When I return, let joy be near,
With grateful songs that You did hear.

So I will walk, I will not fear,
Your gentle hand is always here.
From first step out to last night’s rest,
Your love will guide, protect, and bless.
