A Prayer for Wisdom in Difficult Times and Hard Choices

Heavenly Father, I come before You today with a heart that feels heavy and uncertain. The path before me is not clear, and the choices I face weigh deeply on my soul. I do not want to rely on my own understanding, for I know it is limited. Instead, I humbly ask for Your wisdom to guide me.

Lord, when fear and doubt whisper in my mind, calm my spirit with Your peace. Remind me that You are my refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble. Open my eyes to see the way You are leading me, and open my ears to hear Your gentle voice above the noise of worry and confusion.

Give me clarity, Lord, so I may discern what is right and pleasing in Your sight. When I am tempted to rush into decisions, teach me patience. When I feel weak, remind me of Your strength. When I feel lost, be my compass and my light. Help me to walk not in fear but in faith, trusting that You will never leave me or forsake me.

Father, grant me wisdom to choose the path that leads to peace and purpose, even if it is difficult. Give me courage to let go of what is not meant for me, and strength to embrace the blessings You have already prepared. Let every step I take bring me closer to Your will and deeper into Your love.

I surrender my worries, my decisions, and my future into Your hands, Lord. Guide me, protect me, and grant me the wisdom I need to walk through these difficult times with grace. I believe that Your plan is greater than mine, and I place my trust fully in You. In Jesus’ name.
