Children are one of God’s greatest gifts. Throughout Scripture, we see God’s deep love for children and His desire to protect, guide, and bless them. In a world filled with uncertainty, parents often seek comfort in God’s promises for the safety and well-being of their little ones.
Whether you are praying for your children, grandchildren, students, or children around the world, these Bible verses remind us that God watches over the innocent. His protection is constant, His love is everlasting, and His plans for children are good.
Why Pray Scripture Over Children?
Praying God’s Word strengthens faith and reminds us of His promises. The Bible teaches that children are precious in God’s sight and that He cares deeply for their future.

A Prayer for Innocent Children
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the precious gift of children. We ask for Your protection over every innocent child. Surround them with Your angels, guard their hearts and minds, and keep them safe from harm.
Guide their steps, strengthen their faith, and fill their lives with Your peace. Help them grow in wisdom, kindness, and love. May they always know that they are deeply loved by You.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Whenever fear or uncertainty arises, return to these Scriptures and remember that the same God who watches over the sparrows also watches over every child with perfect love and care.
